Reading through my journal on Revelation, I came across this note on Rev 2:9. God sometimes gives me poems or songs, and I really liked this one, so I thought to share it with you.
Rev 2:9 I know your tribulation and poverty, yet you are rich. I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
“In the darkness of the dungeon
a mighty love shall grow.
In the dire, despairing moments,
you will learn to better know
the sweetness of My presence
than the privileged ever learn.
No one who suffers much for Me
shall e’er be left alone.
No one who trusts in me to live
shall e’er be left alone.
I inhabit all my people
from the least unto the greatest.
All those who trust me in the dark
shall know Me in the brightest
day that ever shall be brought
into the eyes of Adams’ sons;
the day I bring My dearest home
and you discover truest joy
destined for all the treasured ones
I gave My all to ransom from
the enemy who now is gone.”
So, so beautful. This really touches my heart.
God Bless,
Scotti

I agree–it’s hard to wait. But it does make the time pass more sweetly to fellowship with Him through dear sisters and brothers–as well as through the Holy Spirit.
God richly bless you both!
Love, Cindy
