Reimagining Church is shaping up to be a good resource now that I'm a bit further into the book, Tom. Thanks for your recommendation--this book is really making me think and work through some things.

God bless,

I just finished Reimagining Church. Wow, what a book! I thought it was incredible, even better than Pagan Christianity. I'm still humming from it. It answered every question I had while reading Pagan Christianity and a whole lot more.

Hi, Karen

Thanks for commenting! :) I've finished reading Pagan Christianity and have started on Reimagining Church, which is, kind of, a sequel. It's supposed to paint a picture of what an organic church looks like. I haven't gotten far enough into it to decide whether it's going to add to Pagan Christianity or just restate it. But you'll find Pagan Christianity a fascinating book whether or not you agree with it. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. There's a lot to think about, and posting here helps me to do that. I'd love to hear your further thoughts as you read this book, too.

God bless,

Hi Cindy.

I found out about your blog through Pauline's (Perennial Student) & decided to check it out. The words "Pagan Christianity" caught my eye & I went straight to this post.

There is a woman who comments on World on the Web who often sites this book. Unfortunately, she often comes across as bitter, but her comments (without much detail - just enough to tickle my curiosity) have caused me to decide to read it for myself. (Haven't gotten the book yet, though.)

I look forward to reading more of what you have to say on this.

God bless.
